Installation

Prerequisites

System requirements:

• Windows operating system starting from Windows XP SP3 and above (including Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016).
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile and above.

To install NTFS Permissions Auditor you will need to download the NTFSPermissionsAuditor_Y.Y.Y.Y.exe setup file.

• Y.Y.Y.Y - version number.

To get setup file just go to NTFS Permissions Auditor product page and download it. The setup file is digitally signed by "Albus Bit SIA" digital certificate. Setup includes x64, x86 architecture files and, based on Your OS architecture, it will automatically use the most suitable version for You.

Installing

Run the setup file and follow the instructions. The program will be ready for use in less than one minute.

Uninstalling

⚠ Warning: Uninstalling NTFS Permissions Auditor will completely delete registry entries and the local database. If you have the Pro version your product key will also be deleted.

Go to Control panel --> Uninstall a program --> Search for NTFS Permissions Auditor and click Uninstall.

After uninstall is complete, you will be asked if you want to fill out a survey on NTFS Permissions Auditor. If You say yes, you will be redirected to a short online survey form.
